IT’S (NEVER) FUCKED UP bouwt verder op persoonlijke ervaringen van dit collectief jonge kunstenaars als nieuwkomers in dit land, enkele jaren geleden. Een semi-autobiografische voorstelling over je plek zoeken in een nieuwe samenleving waarin zowel positieve als negatieve ervaringen de revue passeren en waarin soms tragische situaties een portie humor verbergen.
Dit collectief hoopt een positieve boodschap uit te dragen naar andere jongeren en wil mensen die het moeilijk hebben inspireren om te leven volgens het motto: Blijf proberen en in jezelf geloven.
Louai Hashem, groeide op in Syrië en woont sinds 2015 in België en is van meet af aan actief in het Vlaamse kunstenveld. De eerste 3 jaar was hij als acteur te zien in theatervoorstellingen van kunstZ: Dying For Life, Walking In Your Shoes, De Bruiloft, I Love The World. En werkte hij mee aan dansproducties als MULTITUD van Tamara Cubas en projecten van De dansende samenleving. Zijn ambities brachten hem ook achter de schermen van cultuurhuizen na het afronden van de Sabbatini Opleiding tot podiumtechnieker in DE SINGEL. Hij tourde 2 jaar als technieker & lichtontwerper en is momenteel freelancer productieleider voor verschillende organisaties en festivals.
Saif Salloomi groeide op in Irak waar hij een dramaopleiding volgde in het secundair onderwijs en woont sinds 2015 in België. Ook hij is sinds zijn aankomst actief in het Vlaamse kunstenveld en was te zien in tal van kunstZproducties. Momenteel is hij afgestudeerd aan de Sabbatini Opleiding tot podiumtechnieker. De laatste productie waarin hij als acteur te zien was, is de voorstelling ‘Ja en Nee zegger’ (De Roovers/kunstZ).
Mustafa Aldoujaily groeide op in Irak, woont sinds 2015 in België en legde een gelijkaardig artistiek parcours af in België als Louai & Saif. Hij nam in het verleden ook deel als acteur en danser aan enkele projecten georganiseerd door kunstZ, de Dansende Samenleving en MULTITUD. Tot voor kort werkte hij als opvoeder en activiteitenverantwoordelijke bij opvangcentrum Wingerdbloei.

IT’S (NEVER) FUCKED UP builds on the personal experiences of this collective of young artists as newcomers in this country a few years ago. A semi autobiographical performance about finding your place in a new society in which both positive and negative experiences pass in review and in which sometimes tragic situations hide a portion of humour.
This collective hopes to spread a positive message to other young people and wants to inspire people who are having a hard time to live according to the motto: Keep trying and believing in yourself.
Louai Hashem, who grew up in Syria and has been living in Belgium since 2015, has been active in the Flemish arts scene from the start. The first three years he was an actor in theatre productions by kunstZ: Dying For Life, Walking In Your Shoes, The Wedding, I Love The World. He also participated in dance productions such as MULTITUD by Tamara Cubas and projects by De Dansende Samenleving. His ambitions also brought him behind the scenes of cultural houses after completing the Sabbatini Course for Stage Technician at De Singel. He toured for 2 years as a technician & lighting designer and is currently a freelance production manager.
Saif Salloomi grew up in Iraq where he followed a drama course in secondary school and has been living in Belgium since 2015. Since his arrival, he too has been active in the Flemish arts scene and has appeared in numerous kunstZ productions. He is currently a graduate of the Sabbatini Training for Stage Technician. The last production in which he could be seen as an actor was the performance ‘Ja en Nee zegger’ (De Roovers/kunstZ).
Mustafa Aldoujaily grew up in Iraq, has been living in Belgium since 2015 and has followed a similar artistic path in Belgium as Louai & Saif. In the past he also participated as an actor and dancer in several projects organised by kunstZ, de Dansende Samenleving and MULTITUD. Until recently, he worked as an educator at the Wingerdbloei.
