Powertalks III @TheaterFestival

9 tot 13 september 2019 nemen 5 startende kunstenaars en 5 dramaturgen/makers deel aan de derde editie van Powertalks tijdens het TheaterFestival in Gent. Voor deze editie bundelen Mestizo Arts Platform en TheaterFestival de krachten.

Alessandra Ferreri, Anton Lambert & Kaori Ishiguro, Liesbet Hermans, Nina Muñoz, Atiyeh Manavipour zijn de 5 startende kunstenaars die werden geselecteerd voor Powertalks III. Gedurende 5 avonden gaan ze afwisselend in gesprek met 5 makers/dramaturgen. Gesprekspartners van dienst zijn: Cecilia Kuska, Maryam K. Hedayat, Matthias Velle, Alesandra Seutin, Selm Wenselaers. Tijdens deze ontmoetingen toetsen de kunstenaars hun concept aan de verschillende perspectieven en praten ze door over de inhoud, vorm, …

Powertalks (edities I en II) is een initiatief van Evelyne Coussens en Giovanni Baudonck i.s.m. rekto:verso, Podiumkunsten en TheaterFestival.

Naast de Powertalks III staan maar liefst 3 voorstellingen – die in vorige WIPCOOP edities (2017 & 2018) nog als Work In Progress te zien waren – op het programma van Theaterfestival 2019.

[EN] 9 to 13 September 2019, 5 starting artists and 5 dramaturges/creators will participate in the third edition of Powertalks during the TheaterFestival in Ghent. Mestizo Arts Platform and TheaterFestival are joining forces for this edition.

Alessandra Ferreri, Anton Lambert & Kaori Ishiguro, Liesbet Hermans, Nina Muñoz, Atiyeh Manavipour are the 5 starting artists who were selected for Powertalks III. During 5 evenings they alternately talk with 5 makers or dramaturges. Conversation partners are: Cecilia Kuska, Maryam K. Hedayat, Matthias Velle, Alesandra Seutin, Selm Wenselaers. Powertalks (editions I and II) is an initiative of Evelyne Coussens and Giovanni Baudonck i.s.m. rekto: verso, Performing Arts and TheaterFestival.

In addition to the Powertalks III, 3 performances – which were Work In Progress in previous WIPCOOP editions (2017 & 2018) – are programmed at Theaterfestival 2019.
