Expo van de samenwerking tussen Leo Ocello (Argentinië) en Christoph Parijs (België) in het kader van het project Water My Plant van Argentijnse artiest-managers Agustín Jais en Denise Lara Margules. Op #MAF16 zetten Jais en Margules uitwisseling op tussen culturele organisaties in Argentinië en België door elk een maquette van het gebouw van een andere organisatie te geven en hen te vragen hiervoor te zorgen. (MEER INFO: ZIE 22.10). 1 van die paren, Acéfala (een jonge galerij in Buenos Aires) en Mokkakapot (een culturele koffiebar in Borgerhout) besloot om elk een artiest van de andere organisatie uit te nodigen om een interventie met het geschaald model uit te werken.

EN – Collaborative exhibition between artists Leo Ocello (Argentina) and Christoph Parijs (Belgium) under the framework of the project Water My Plant by the Argentinean artist-managers Agustín Jais and Denise Lara Margules.
In MAF 2016, Jais/Margules created exchanges between cultural organizations based in Argentina and Belgium by giving each a model of the other’s building and asking them to take care of it. One of these pairs, Acéfala (a young gallery in Buenos Aires) and Mokkakapot (a cultural bar in Borgerhout) decided to each invite an artist to intervene their scale models.
Ocello and Parijs work with the architecture, the people —staff, audiences, neighbours— and the processes of Acéfala and Mokkakapot, using their scale models as props to create participative instructions that experiment with the stories around these organizations and playing with the ocean-wide distance between them.
