Every WIPCOOP edition there are new artists who participate. Here you will find an overview of all artists who have participated since 2009. Since 2019, each of them gets a page. On it you will find information about who they are and which performance they presented as a work in progress (and possibly further realized or will realize later), as well as photos of this. Nasser Mardnly & Basim Akasha

Voice Mechelen is an artistic collective with actors trained in Syria and Lebanon where they were also professionally active.
With their artistic projects, they want to share their view of life with a new audience and connect

Paula Kopczyk

Paula Kopczyk, grew up in Poland, after 1 year of unplanned stay in Belgium she took the decision to stay here “for a while”, meanwhile living here for 11 years.
Without taking Dutch lessons, she quickly mastered the language. Today she diligently puts her passion for language to paper, trains as an interpreter and this passion brings her to the theater scene.

Lorena Spindler

Lorena Spindler (she) is a hybrid artist based in Brussels.
She conceptualizes artistic proposals in the form of text, choreography, performance, staging, clip for the rap scene, experimental film.
Her work focuses on questions about immediate sociological phenomena.

Emiliano Cedillo

Emiliano Cedillo is a juggler, acrobat and cabaret performer who grows up in a town in Mexico.
There he discovers that crime is daily bread and that being humble is one of the most beautiful things about being human.

Eli Mathieu Bustos

Eli Mathieu-Bustos is a dancer-performer whose physical virtuosity allows him to transcend the various political identities that define him.
Yet it is from them that his dances are born.
Self-taught and passionate about improvisation, he is inspired by both dancehall and German expressionist dance.
In 2020, he created an improvisational technique – based on his practice of astrology – which he perfected in the studio.
From this technique was born a new dance style called De Caelo.

Alex Masgutov

Alex Masgutov writes and works on multidisciplinary stage productions.
He initially began performing as a slammer and debuted on open stages in Brussels.
Now he is evolving as an artist and young adult.

Désirée 0100

Désirée 0100 is a dancer and choreographer born in 1992 (Mexico).
She has lived in Belgium since 2018.
Her work has a strong connection to improvisational practice, folklore, musicality, migration, healing rituals and social justice for marginalized communities.

Amina Iddrisu

Amina Iddrisu started taking dance and gymnastics classes in a variety of styles at a young age.
In 2017, she joined an interesting trajectory in theater performances Snap XL by Talitha Dedecker with fABULEUS and 8.2 by Radouan Mriziga with fABULEUS and HETPALEIS.

Zach Swagga & Junior Akwety

Zach Swagga was inspired by artists Koffi Olomide, Michael Jackson and Mc Hammer in the 1990s and became known for his show “Back to the Roots.”
He formed a band called Wake Up and started the Kobo Power movement.
He has represented Belgium in the US, Japan, France, Germany, Greece, etc.
