Manu Moreau and Paula Kopczyk participated in WIPCOOP 2020.
Because of Corona, their Work In Progress could not take place or only for a limited audience. With these show moments, we are making additional space to increase the visibility of their work. Courtesy of Rataplan.

(Clean.NET) 11:45am-12pm – In a room in a fancy brasserie on the outskirts of town. During a meeting of some ladies of a service club. Is the 29-year-old cleaning lady Paula Kopczyk asked to come and talk for 15 minutes about her job “on the other side. And does that get somewhat out of hand … A portrait of a life at the bottom of our society. That reveals that we live comfortably because others do the crap jobs. That even here, in our backyard, we feast on slave labor, abuse and exploitation. Which Paula is trying to escape. With a lot of trial and error. To do what she was apparently born to do: play. Paula Kopczyk & MARTHA!TENTATIEF test the first half hour of what will hopefully be a full-fledged performance.

[kni’bo] I’ve learned the most from all of the things you couldn’t teach me. Manu wants to become a father, but he is almost 40 and single. With his drive for parenthood also comes the question of who he wants to be as a father. A monologue about a man who has had to find his own way with humor as a shield. Manu Moreau is a writer, stand-up comedian and Master of Ceremony.
