The call for artists for WIPCOOP 2026 has officially open!

HOW WE SELECT
For whom?
WIPCOOP focuses primarily on performing artists based in Brussels and Flanders who are brooding on new work and are still looking for connection and support in the broad professional art field.
How?
For every city -Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent and Leuven- we make a selection of +/-17 artists in total, together with our local partners. The collaboration in WIPCOOP starts with preparing the presentations of Work in Progress in the autumn of 2026 . From then on, we try to find the right matches within the arts sector between artists and workplaces, (co-)producers, programmers, etc., and to follow up and support artists/work.
Dates: Work in Progress autumn semester
- – > KVS, Brussels: Wednesday, Sept. 30 and Thursday, Oct. 1
- – > STUK, Leuven: Thursday, Oct. 15
- – > wpZimmer, Antwerp: Thursday, Jan. 28, 2027 (NEW DATE!)
- – > Campo, Ghent: Thursday, Dec. 10
Procedure
- Candidacies: by March 1 (-> see questions document)
- Based on the written applications, we will make a pre-selection of candidates who will be invited to a video meeting.
- Announcement of final selection during April: everyone will then receive an email, whether you are selected or not.
