Last year we worked around the theme of the Tussenruimte or the In-Between. Because what happens in those less defined moments – when we go to the bathroom after seeing a performance; when we go for a smoke between rehearsals; when we fry a fried egg for lunch during a shared residency? What (types of) conversations flow? And how can we play into the power of these informal spaces?
During WIPCOOP 2025, Enrica Camporesi explored the in-between space together with the audience. She developed her own methodology for this: during every WIP, she drew an interpretation of the work in her large sketchbook, using carbon paper. During the breaks, she then invited the audience to join her at the table to complete the drawings, color them in, modify them, … Meanwhile, open conversations, shared stories and new connections emerged.

WIP after WIP the book filled up with interpretations and captures from Enrica & the audience. And so also full of new insights for the artists: how their work was seen and processed, and what thoughts and emotions their work triggered. It became a beautiful document that really captures the mood of WIPCOOP 2025 – and which we are very happy to share with you.
