๐ 3 ARTISTS 3 HOUSES 3 WEEKS #4
February is dedicated to our shared residency Shared Research, Shared Practices. Three artists: Nata Mandaria, Sesa (both through MAP) and Mira Maria Studer (through detheatermaker) // three houses: Monty, Rataplan and c o r s o // three weeks.
For three weeks, the artists will dive into their own projects; writing, playing, dancing, singing, interviewing, … Every Friday they will come together and share their new insights and ideas with each other. On Mondays, they move places, so that by the end of the residency each artist has had one week to work and soak up the atmosphere at and of every house. This way the artists get to know each other and different work and play spaces.
Each creator starts from their own question, practice, network and background that inspires and shapes their work. By meeting weekly and exchanging ideas, they reinforce each other’s research and open new perspectives. Knowledge sharing is central to this residency, with makers learning from and challenging each other.
