Great news from The Hague: dancer/movement and choreographer Melisa Diktaş is the winner of the BNG Dance Award 2025! On Thursday, April 17, this was announced in theater house Korzo, where the jury was deeply impressed by her solo Dat wat ontembaar is. As the winner, Melisa may tour eight Dutch theaters with her performance, under the format DansClick – a route worth no less than €50,000.
In 2023, Melisa was on stage at the Brussels WIPCOOP, where she met MAP partner RIGHTABOUTNOWINC. Together they developed – under the guidance of Marjorie Boston and Maarten van Hinte – Dat wat ontembaar is into this powerful solo. She previously showed the performance at the Fringe Festival Amsterdam 2024, where she won the Fringe at Best Award.
