✨ This was WIPCOOP Leuven 2025 — a very special edition highlighting voices from the urban and hip-hop scene.
Chipo Sikumba, Israël Ngashi and Zoë Noise each showed a work in
progress — raw work in full development. They gave their (as well as their dancers and actors) very best, and left the — very much present — audience already looking forward to the artists’ next steps.
The day was opened musically by Lila Magnin, hosted by Manu Moreau, and captured by photographer Victoriano Moreno and videographer Thijs Paijmans. We were, as always, showered with coffee, tea and cookies and inspired by Karim Kalonji who pitched his project during the break. In addition to the closed invitation-only feedforward session, the public was also able to have their say: at the roundtables with Joana Rossi, in the in-between spaces with Enrica Camporesi, or via a “letter to the artist.” This was, the artists gathered plenty of tips, tricks, ideas, inspiration, references and, of course, a lot of love and motivation to keep their projects going.
Merci to all the artists and their teams. Merci to the crew of 30CC. Merci Joana, Enrica, Lila, Manu, Victoriano, Thijs, and to everyone who shared feedback – in private or straight from the audience.
Together we continue to draw the red line — to the next city, to the next story, to the next WIPCOOP. See you in Antwerp 😉
