In March, MAP will move to wpZimmer for one month. Together with artists from the WIPCOOP-network – Gökhan Kizilbuga, Farida, Joana Rossi, Saloua Hassani, Louai Hashem & Julia Färber Data – we are going there as an organization in residence. To work, brainstorm, commemorate, puzzle … to take a complete break from our routine.
Meet Gökhan Kizilbuga 👋
What began as a one-week residency at wpZimmer grew to three weeks – we are quietly becoming family.
Gökhan (he/him) is a theater maker & director with a distinctly interdisciplinary approach. His previous projects Sledderlove and We Build This examined the impact of urbanization and migration on individuals and communities. With a great passion for location-based work, he creates meaningful experiences that respond directly to the local context.
At WIPCOOP 2024, Gökhan presented Es Kamen Menschen An, a work-in-progress installation merging archival footage, visual art and performance. In recent weeks, he has been refining his text and developing his powerful performance for future performances.

Meet Farida 👋
Farida (she/her) is a spoken word artist whose work is as powerful as it is connective. She grew up in a Moroccan mining family in Limburg and found her way to art through language – words became her means of exploring the world and making meaning.
In 2017, she consciously chose to pursue her artistic path and plunged into spoken word, visual art and theater. Her poetry is both socially critical and connective, opening the door to conversations about sensitive topics. Her visual work – canvases and installations – often connects seamlessly with the themes in her texts, creating a multidisciplinary dialogue.
In 2022, Farida became Limburg Slam Poetry champion. As founder of WOOM(Women Only Open Mic), she created a space where women can develop and share their voices through spoken word and slam poetry.
Farida spent a week with us in residence wpZimmer, where she worked on her solo performance Spoken Word Fusion: Human Voices, which she presented at WIPCOOP Leuven 2024. We were so happy to have you with us, Farida! We can’t wait to see where your next steps take you.

Meet Saloua Hassani 👋
Actress, playwright and storyteller – Saloua (she/her) is making her own way in the theater world, with warmth and depth. Her work often explores themes around motherhood and other forms of care and connection, as in her piece Go Your Way. (working title), which she presented at WIPCOOP 2024.
Saloua spent a week in residence wpZimmer, where she fully immersed herself in writing, rewriting and more writing – with the support of her favorite coach Rashif El Kaoui.
It was a pleasure to have you with us, Saloua! We enjoyed your warmth, dedication and infectious enthusiasm. We hope to see you again very soon!
