WIPCOOP, the Work In Progress Cooperative of MESTIZO ARTS PLATFORM, is taking place for the very first time at 30CC/Minnepoort!
At WIPCOOP, Israel Ngashi, Chipo Sikumba and Zoë Doise will show 30 minutes from their Works in Progress.

3 x Work in Progress
14:00 – reception with coffee & tea
14:30 – 15:00 Zunda iLanga – Chipo Sikumba
In Zunda iLanga, we meet Anansi, the weaving spider, who does not want to become entangled in his own web. Through stories that balance between fact and fantasy, we travel through time and discover how stories shape and transform us.
With rhythm, prose and acting, Chipo brings the African oral tradition to the stage. Born in Mozambique and shaped by wanderings in Eswatini, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and now Belgium, he collects stories that matter and passes them on – mouth to ear, heart to heart.
15:00- 16:00 Feedback & round tables + pitch Karim Kalonji
16:00 – 16:30 Welcome to Ksaarland: The Kingdom of Party – Israel Ngashi (Wild ou Illicite)
What if celebration becomes a life attitude? With Ksaarland, Israel Ngashi creates an explosive performance that celebrates dance, togetherness and expression. Inspired by Brussels youth culture around the word ksaar (Darija for fun and relaxation), he invites you to let go of worries, sing off key and dance uninhibited.
Israel is a rising star in the Belgian krump scene: world champion in duo at the International Illest Battle, member of dance company Konzi and active within street culture collective Timiss. With Welcome to Ksaarland, he takes you to a world where the vibe rules.
16:30 – 17:30 Feedback & Roundtables + Pitch Graciano Dos Santos Sebastiao
17:30 – 18:00 Agni Kai – Zoë Doise
In Agni Kai, a fiery choreography about inner struggle and liberation unfolds. Inspired by the iconic fire duel from Avatar, Zoë Doise explores the balance between mastery and surrender. In this choreographic ritual, fire becomes both destruction and transformation – an invitation to face your own power and dare to burn.
Zoë grew up in Limburg, danced in international teams and worked on shows and productions from Tomorrowland to The Voice. Today she is a choreographer and teacher; her style is filled with female empowerment, energy and character.
