MONOSAPIENS – Pablo Correa

Dive into the universe of Pablo Correa as a writer, creator and player! In Monosapiens, Correa indulges the audience with a simple scenography that combines three short monologues and the effervescent energy of the narrator.

Humor and drama are interwoven effortlessly. In each of the three short stories, Correa creates realistic characters who gradually immerse the viewer in the absurd facets of the everyday life of a lovesick teacher, a politician who throws himself wholeheartedly into an election campaign and a doctor who presents his innovative method of self-healing to his patients.

Pablo Correa studied at the National University of Arts Buenos Aires Argentina and attended several seminars with teachers such as Ricardo Bartis and Alejandro Catalan. Pablo is self-taught in clown technique, experienced in street theater, theater for children and youth, musical theater, comedy and drama. He traveled around the world and finally landed in Antwerp in 2021.

With Monosapiens, he was one of Fame’s Summer Guests and a first tryout was seen at Arenberg during Antwerp Bijou 2022, and as Work In Progress during WIPCOOP 2023 in Kambala.
