On 09 and 10 November you can follow new Work In Progress at Arenberg.
A total of six artists – such as Nitish Bhardwaj, Ayham Alafshari Qomoq, Somalia Williamson and Nina Plantefève-Castryck – each present up to 30 minutes of their Work In Progress for an audience of professionals and curious viewers.
Afterwards, they will talk about their work and possible support for one hour with a selected group of dramaturges, workshops, producers and programmers. During these breaks, the audience will enjoy pitches about artistic initiatives across the city.
WIPCOOP – the Work In Progress Cooperative of Mestizo Arts Platform – is an all year round development project in Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent and Mechelen. Its main goal? Making new artistic work visible, setting up a dialogue around this and matching artists and organisations in order to further develop and play this work when finished.
WIPCOOP = making space for new voices, stories, forms and languages in the performing arts.
The Work In Progress happens during daytime and entrance is free.More info on reservations from September. Finished performances (#Plays) from previous WIPCOOP editions can be seen on several days in the Arenberg evening programme
