WIPCOOP offers both the arts sector and the public a chance to get a glimpse of what new creations are cooking within the performing arts.
What the WIP?
The Work In Progress Coöperative of MESTIZO ARTS PLATFORM is an annual trajectory that runs in Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent and Leuven.
The goal?
From the power of collaboration, making new artistic work visible, stimulating dialogue and connecting artists and organizations, so that these creations can continue to grow and play.
How does it work?
During WIPCOOP, artists show up to 30 minutes from their Works In Progress. After each presentation, they engage in conversation with dramaturges, workshops, producers and programmers about the shown work and possible support. The audience will also discuss the work and be presented with short pitches from other interesting creators.
