MY HOUSE is a performance based on dance and house culture, a dialogue between music and dance. Zach Swagga from Mechelen and Junior Akwety from Antwerp are coordinating a piece together for the first time, with Zach doing the choreography and Junior doing the music.
They started this project in 2020 and already had a few residencies and showcases.

Zach Swagga was inspired in the 1990s by artists Koffi Olomide, Michael Jackson and Mc Hammer and became known for his show “Back to the Roots. He formed a band called Wake Up and started the Kobo Power movement. He has represented Belgium in the US, Japan, France, Germany, Greece, etc.
Junior Akwety is a singer, songwriter and actor. His music has taken him all over the world, from Los Angeles to Cape Town. In recent years, he has also appeared in KVS productions: Malcolm X and Homme de La Mancha. Now he concentrates on his own projects: a project with youngsters ‘Buren’, MY house and a project around Rumba music.
