RÊVE is a physical dance duo to make the audience pause for a moment, step back and reflect: be still and discover the world in and around you.

It is a look back at your true self: what made you who you are today and how did the world and your origins help shape it?

Who are you?

This performance combines dance, theater and circus, using the body as the main tool to express feelings, words and stories. It is more than a performance; it is an invitation to embrace the beauty of human connection and rediscover yourself.

Valeria Saija studied dance in Italy and Austria. During her training, she had the opportunity to work with many well-known choreographers, including reworking and performing Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui’s solo “Foi” (2021).

Later after the last degree, she worked for Vittoria De Ferrari Sapetto and Seiko dance company on tour in Lithuania (2022). At the same time, she worked as a freelancer in Italy and Germany. She moved to Belgium to be part of Voetvolk company of Lisbeth Gruwez and Maarten Van Cauwenberghe (2022-2024).

Nicolas Vladyslav is a dancer, choreographer and teacher. He started circus at a young age before studying dance; first ballet and then contemporary dance. He worked in France before moving to Belgium to dance for Michèle Anne De Mey in Utopia, then with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui: Foi, Tempus Fugit, Corpus Bach, and assisted him for many pieces. Nicolas also choreographed many of his own pieces. He worked for Les Ballets C de la B and Lisi Estaras for many years.

Nicolas is currently collaborating with Lies Pauwels in Love doll playing with the big boys in a different kind of space. He also teaches at La Raffinerie (Brussels), SEAD (Austria), Danspunt and others.
