La Ave La Ave is a dance theater performance that challenges the construction of gender. An examination of how we can distance ourselves from the body and imposed reality and an attempt to reintegrate the binary structure of our Western gender reality into a multidimensional concept.
The seed for La Ave was planted after a passage in the Ballroom -scene and the introduction to “Muxes” – a third gender from an ancient Zapotean culture.
