VLAMINGO is an intimate story, a monologue in documentary form.
An autobiographical poetic play about integration. Through personal experiences, Nela delves into a general universal understanding of: integration, assimilation, adaptation, appreciation … the importance of Dutch and general language development. A search through cultural and mentality differences. For means and techniques to overcome them.

Nela Deleu reveals a specifically intimate and recognizable love story with VLAMINGO, her path to becoming a Fleming.
