Trans Terminos or “across the borders. Trans Terminos is a dance theater performance about a man who wants to reach his goal, no matter how difficult it is. Giving up is not an option. He works hard to create a being that can do his job for him AND better. To do so, he must program it completely This process is not without controversy, with many ups & downs, but in the end he achieves his goal.

Ivan Emanuel Rodrigues Farinha moved from Portugal to Belgium in 2007. Since 2010 he has dedicated himself to dance, sampling different dance styles but focusing mainly on Popping. He gives workshops at home and abroad, won several dance competitions and has been featured in productions such as: Rhythm Naturals, Red Ridin’ Hood, Paralelo, Plemons, etc.

Trans Terminos, is his first dance performance of his own. A first stage of the work Ivan presented together with Carlos Ferreira Dias during DaraInvites (Arenberg) and Fiery Love (February 2022, Spoor Oost). In Arenberg, he presents the Work In Progress together with Denzel Bruckenburg.
