Sad Birds Pavilion takes you on a long term journey in Kurdistan. A poetic encounter with the melody of a language, it’s sound and resonance.

Sad Birds Pavilion takes you back to the past and present. Following the traces of a traditional Kurdish tale, you will be introduced to the musical beauty of the language in a contemporary form. Stories of the present intertwine with the past. A journey in scents, sounds, time, colors, songs and body. In search of lost traces. Without fear. What makes us us?
