PROPAGANDA is a Chilean-German production that explores the concept of propaganda from various artistic perspectives. The project compares ancient and contemporary propaganda techniques, especially how they evolve to spread punitive ideas globally within political and electoral contexts. The show focuses on the evolution of propaganda, with a specific focus on the influences of European models on South American regimes. Six performers will analyze the workings of propaganda in everyday life through a multisensory and aesthetic-critical experience. The work highlights the role of media and social networks as channels for manipulated information and examines their impact on the public. By encouraging dialogue and critical reflection, PROPAGANDA aims to promote a better understanding of how discourses shape our reality. The show offers a transnational analysis that shows how propaganda has been adapted in different contexts and continues to affect our lives.
