Reflectie van Enrica Camporesi na twee dagen vol ontmoetingen en inspiratie
During the kick-off of WIPCOOP 2025 at KVS on Oct. 8 and 9, Enrica Camporesi, together with the audience, explored the In-Between Space – or the In Betweens.
That in-between space is a place – of encounters, stories and inspiration – that MAP will continue to explore: the in-between between maker and audience, between showing and listening, between inside and outside. Enrica’s own research resonates strongly with this quest. So we put our minds together and bent over a concept. For the space during WIPCOOP 2025, Enrica developed a methodology where she invites the audience to join her at the table during breaks. That’s where open conversations, shared stories and new connections emerge.
What followed was, for Enrica, “a pure pleasure.”
“I came home as if after a period of study, a research residency, with many questions and many impressions on my retinas, full of different bodies and struggles, full of the stories and confidence of the people who came to my table and told pieces of their lives, stimulated by the performances.”
Meeting so many young, fiery creators, as well as the generations that support them and make space for them, touched her deeply.
“Ik werd eraan herinnerd aan de change we can bring in whatever we do. I saw a lot of strong young creators standing in their fire, and another generation supporting them and giving way – and that’s a very good thing.”
For Enrica, this edition felt like a moment of collective movement: a fluid community of imaginers and makers who reinforce and inspire each other.
“I felt connected, sucked in by a fluid community of other imaginers and makers. Thank you, and cheers to that!”
MAP looks forward to continuing this research with Enrica in the coming months, continuing to explore how makers, audiences, cultural workers can meet in the Inbetween space and what can be created there.
