Augusto Pedraza presented 30 minutes from his work in progress: Hello Schatje, Adios Amour, during WIPCOOP 2023 in STUK and KVS.
In Brussels, he met WIPCOOP partners from Barcelona, including the colleagues of Nau Ivanow.
This acquaintance developed into one of the opportunities to take further steps in the development of the work.
This was first followed in January by a residency and show moment at wp Zimmer where Augusto Pedraza and Lorena Pires (dramaturgy – director’s assistant) focused on exploring new material and the use of podcasts, followed in April by a residency and a small show moment at Le B a m p in Brussels, and in May they went to Barcelona for a technical residency with Nau Ivanow.
This process at Nau Ivanow has been intensive and it has helped me in my dramaturgical development, in experimentation and aesthetic visualization, and in finding the technical needs to work on.Being in a residency where 100% of your time is dedicated to your work helps to be more focused in the process, plus the atmosphere at the Nau and Barcelona makes it even better.
