VIER MUREN – Marios Bellas

The old world is coming to an end. The new one is at the door. All over the world, conflicts are raging and people are trying to break free from old structures or return to them. A portion of people cling frenetically to the old and resist any change out of fear and anger. Another group looks forward, but seems to forget the good from the past.

Marios Bellas is a playwright, performer and musician.
He graduated from directing school (RITCS) in 2021 with theatrical ritual “O,” which had people in full lockdown coming together around death. After graduation, he starred in EXTREME / MALECANE (Paola Pisciottano/Théâtre National), MARS and SEGEN (both Youyougroup/Myriam van Imschoot) and Halleluja (Fleur Khani/Theatremaker). In 2022, he joined multidisciplinary collective SOCHA, with which he co-founded the #ON FIRE series (theater arsenal) as a musician, creator and performer. In late 2023 came his first single Brussels was released. He is also working on his debut album, Honger.
