What an incredible week it was again at KVS during Proximamente Festival ⚡️ Proximamente celebrates Latin American culture and brings emerging talent and new voices with infectious energy to Belgium. On Thursday, Nov. 21, we hosted a WIPCOOP-day there!
Ana Luz Ormazábal, Lucia Giannoni and Rodrigo Batista & Mariana Senne each presented 30 minutes of their works-in-progress. Junior Akwety & Enrique Noviello and Désirée 0100 & Luis Miguel Ramirez Muñoz shared insights into their new projects.
Since this WIPCOOP-day was organized within the framework of Proximamente, it was a little different than usual. Instead of the “formal” feedback discussions we always organize with the artists and our professional network, on Nov. 21 the audience was the full focus. Joana Rossi, after each performance and presentation invited the audience to engage in conversation with the artists. So they got valuable questions, fresh ideas, tips & tricks and of course a lot of love & support.
