Wohooow! This was WIPCOOP Antwerp 2024 ⚡️@ Kambala (Toneelhuis) – a beautiful visual report by Victoriano Moreno.
During this two (!) day WIPCOOP-edition, Aya Sabi, Joana Rossi, Ayoub Sadik, reinier, Anastassya Savitsky and Zoë Chungong were each given 30 minutes to present their performances-in-formation.
.We kicked off WIPCOOP Antwerp as usual – with coffee, tea and delicious cookies. Presenter Manu Moreau was also on hand again and, in his own unique way, guided us through these well-filled days. On 28/11 the program featured Aya Sabi, Joana Rossi and Ayoub Sadik, and on 29/11 it was the turn of reinier, Anastassya Savitsky and Zoë Chungong. In between inspiring WIPs, feedback sessions took place with a select group of professionals. At the same time, there were roundtable discussions for the “ordinary” (but mostly blissful) audience. The feedback sessions were moderated by Tine and assisted by Paulien who diligently took minutes. The roundtable discussions were led by Junior Akwety and Joana Rossi – when she wasn’t presenting herself, of course :-). At lunch, Toneelhuis treated us to delicious soup (and even more cookies and coffee). People watched, chatted, listened, laughed, cried (a very small amount), shared and made connections… In short: people-WIPCOOP-ed 🕺 And soon we will meet again with the artists to see how we can take the next steps toward finished performances. Exciting!
